BONSERNEWS.com – Commission III of the DPR has the opportunity to summon the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) regarding the continuation of the alleged corruption case of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo)’s BTS tower.

Chairman of Commission III of the DPR, Bambang Wuryanto, reminded all parties not to speculate about the case. He asked all parties to wait for the results of the investigation by the AGO.

“If it’s too late, we’ll summon it to Commission III. So you can see. As before Mr. Sambo, there’s a lot of speculation. When it’s opened, clear it all,” he said, Friday 26 May 2023.

The PDIP politician hopes that the Attorney General’s statement in the DPR will later shed light on the case. This is because all parties, especially parties, can provide explanations, such as NasDem, Gerindra and PDIP.

All three parties were allegedly involved in the case. Pacul confirmed that he would schedule a summons to the Attorney General’s Office regarding the BTS tower corruption case which is now dragging the Minister of Communication and Informatics and a politician from the NasDem Party, Johnny G Plate.

“It will definitely be scheduled. Don’t worry. Very important things, especially party issues like this, we will definitely open up. So that the issue will be resolved,” he said.

Apart from the Attorney General’s Office, said the man who is familiarly called Pacul, his party also has the opportunity to summon the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP). The agency said the BTS corruption case reached IDR 8 trillion. This amount differs from the version of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) of IDR 1.5 trillion.

“BPKP stated that corruption in the BTS has a value of 8 trillion. It’s really big. Later in the clarification, we will summon the BPKP,” said Pacul.

The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD previously said that the alleged flow of funds flowing into the party in the alleged corruption case in the construction of the BAKTI Kominfo 4G transmitter tower (BTS) was just gossip.

He claimed to have reported the information to President Joko Widodo. According to Mahfud, proving the information would be difficult, so he asked the AGO and the KPK to investigate. ()
