Several companies from Indonesia are included in the list, with the majority being State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI is the most superior company by being ranked 307th among other companies in Indonesia.
This achievement increased compared to the previous year, where last year BRI was only ranked 349th in the world.

Quoting the official Forbes website, there are 8 Indonesian companies on the Forbes The Global 2000 list for 2023, these companies are BRI (307), Mandiri (418), BCA (462), Telkom (787), BNI (930), Bayan (983). ), Adaro (1,393), and Garuda Indonesia (1,572).
Main Director of BRI Sunarso said this achievement was proof that his party was able to maintain a sustainable positive performance with very measurable risk management.
“This is certainly an achievement for the company, in the midst of global economic uncertainty, BRI is still able to maintain a positive performance,” said Sunarso.
“BRI achieved this by refocusing on empowering and saving the MSME segment during difficult times, as well as becoming a strategic partner of the government in the national economic recovery program,” he explained.

BRI has proven to produce impressive records on 4 assessment indicators. Starting from a profit perspective, which reached US$3.45 billion or Rp.51.4 trillion on an annual basis (year on year/yoy).
In addition, in terms of assets, BRI also recorded US$119.84 billion or IDR 1,865.64 trillion, a double digit growth of 11.18 percent yoy from the previous year.
In terms of sales, BRI has recorded figures of US$13.16 billion or around Rp.195.8 trillion, and BRI’s market value reached US$53.79 billion or Rp.799.2 trillion.
